QUALIFICATIONS
Eldar and Alfiya are experienced violinists and teachers of violin and viola whose career has spanned over 25 years, possessing the highest levels of conservatory education in violin performance and an extensive teaching history in private, classroom and master class settings. They have experience with all ages and levels and strive to be sensitive to a variety of personalities and backgrounds. Drawing on their own successes both and applying the rigorous pedagogic training they received, they has successfully guided children and young adults of all ages to extraordinary and often prize-winning musical expression in performance. Eldar and Alfiya are passionately dedicated to the development of all young people under their guidance. Their goal for each student, in partnership with their parents and educational institutions, is to establish a lasting and strong foundation for a complete and mature musician and artist. As a result of these efforts during the past two decades, they have played a pivotal role in the growth of many talented violinists into professional soloists and orchestral members. In addition, by virtue of their inspiration, some of their former students have themselves carried on their teaching legacy.
Eldar and Alfiya work extremely well with their colleagues in a team effort to develop students, and are generous with their time both in service to educational institution goals and individual student needs. They have been appreciated by their colleagues for their assistance on committees and juries, as well as their willingness to help ensure a unified approach to the success of institutional programs. They are unwavering in their support of their colleagues and peers, who have often observed that their role as faculty members has helped strengthen the institutions and increased satisfaction and retention among existing students, as well as the attraction of new students.
Eldar's and Alfiya's early training began in the former Soviet Union, and they were taught in the tradition that led to the development of such artists as David Oistrakh, Jascha Heifetz, Nathan Milstein and Leonid Kogan. Their training in the USA can be traced back to legendary pedagogue Ivan Galamian.

Eldar and Alfiya moved to Austin in the summer of 2019. They have been winners in numerous competitions. They enjoy an active performance career as a solo, chamber and orchestral musicians and have been presented in many stage, radio and television appearances in the USA, Russia, Turkmenistan and Ukraine.
